About Mill Farm Recycling

Mill Farm Recycling is a family run business which has being within the agricultural industry since 1945. In 2004 the company diversified and started a small on farm composting site with the sole aim of producing compost as fertiliser for the farmland to use in an organic farming system. Since then the composting site has increased its throughput to the point that now over 90% of all compost produced is now sold to companies that bag, landscape or other. This has obviously pushed us to improve our products and operations to keep to our high quality standards that our customers expect.

In 2010 we branched over into the biomass industry when we started to supply our local powerstation with biomass fuel. This has since progressed with a refined process now making high quality biomass fuel for much smaller boilers with more stringent fuel requirements.
